Aza Reciprocal Agreement
Please note: Our mutual discount is 50% on admission. One of the benefits of becoming a member of your local AZA zoo or aquarium is mutual admission to one of the other AZA member zoos and aquariums participating in the reciprocal admission program. Some AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums that do not participate in the AZA Reciprocity Program may have individual mutual agreements with other AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums. Contact your local zoo or aquarium for special discounts. Please note that the Milwaukee County Zoo and Brookfield Zoo do not respect this mutual agreement. The Philadelphia Zoo offers a 50% discount on admission for current members of the zoos listed below. Please make sure you have your valid zoo membership card with another ID upon arrival. Please note that this discount only applies to the adults and children under the age of 18 mentioned – guest privileges do not apply. Reciprocal tickets are available at any member or ticket office. Admission: Free for the public, 50% off the Safari Pass (up to 4) Be sure to read the rules of the reciprocal admissions program before visiting the zoos and aquariums on this list. Please note that participating institutions located geographically close to each other are not required to grant free or discounted admission to each other`s members to participate in reciprocal admission programs, although they may offer an alternative discount. Rules and participation can and will change throughout the year! The Zoos and Aquariums Association`s reciprocal admission program allows you to become a member of your local AZA accredited zoo or aquarium, and then when you travel, you can save money with free or discounted admission to other AZA accredited locations! If the zoo or aquarium you are a member of participates in the 50% level, you can expect to save 50% at other member locations. If your zoo or aquarium participates at the 100% level, you can receive up to 100% off entrance fees to other 100% level locations and you can save 50% on entry to 50% level locations. Be sure to bring your zoo membership card and personal photo ID during your visit. Racine Zoo does NOT reciprocate with zoos that are geographically close to our zoo. These include Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, N.E.W. Zoo in Green Bay, Milwaukee County Zoo, and the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo.
Zoos and aquariums on the 2021 Mutual Approval List have agreed to participate from March 2021 to March 2022. Sometimes zoos and aquariums are added to this list throughout the year. The most up-to-date list can be found on the AZA website. Mutual zoos offer free or discounted admission with your Philadelphia Zoo membership card and secondary ID. We strongly recommend that you contact the zoo or aquarium you wish to visit for complete information about their reciprocity programs and policies. Please note that this discount only applies to adults and children under the age of 18 mentioned on the membership – guest privileges do not apply. Zoo Reciprocal members do NOT need to make a reservation to come to the Kansas City Zoo. Simply bring your local zoo or aquarium membership card on the day of your visit and you can purchase your discounted ticket on site.
