Quincy College Transfer Agreement
Each year, hundreds of students transfer from Quincy College to UMass Boston. You choose UMass Boston for a number of reasons – our location, academic programs, affordability, and our strong background in supporting Quincy College students. We have developed a comprehensive articulation agreement between these schools called Quincy Transfer, which provides an optimized transfer path from your associate to the bachelor`s degree. Quincy College and Northeastern University College of Professional Studies have announced that Quincy College graduates will be able to create a seamless transition to Northeastern University College of Professional Studies after graduating as an associate to complete their bachelor`s degree. Thanks to this new partnership, to the renegotiated articulation agreement, the courses covered by the agreement at Quincy College count towards the bachelor`s degree as if they had been taken at the four-year university. The articulation agreement covers many of Quincy College`s programs, such as: JWCC graduates will be able to transition to the new agribusiness and supply chain management programs at QU in the fall of 2017. John Wood Education Majors will also be able to take advantage of the new deal at QU in the fall. Students transfer to Quincy University for many different reasons, but they find a shared experience: Quincy`s admissions staff will work with you to determine how much of your previous college credits will be transferred to your education at Quincy University. While Quincy College students can`t participate in MassTransfer programs, you don`t have to worry. UMass Boston and Quincy College created Quincy Transfer – our own version of a bachelor`s associate program. Bring your associate degree and general education courses by choosing one of the approved programs listed below. Simply follow the study program associated with Quincy College and get additional transfer benefits at UMass Boston! Northeastern University College of Professional Studies is one of nine colleges that make up the university. Northeastern is known for its experiential education, and the College of Professional Studies incorporates this strength into career-oriented professional training at the bachelor`s and master`s levels. Lowell Institute School, which focuses on science, technology and engineering, is part of the College of Professional Studies. The following 2+2 articulation agreements are designed so that you can complete two years at the LLCC and two years at the listed facility. Our goal is to make the transfer process as seamless as possible.
We recommend taking advantage of resources designed specifically for Quincy College students: The three transfer program agreements – agribusiness, supply chain management, and education – meet the employment needs of businesses and K-12 institutions in the region. Quincy College has formal agreements with a number of 4-year institutions inside and outside of New England. These agreements allow for a smooth transition from an Associate degree from Quincy College to a 4-year degree from one of our partner schools, while maximizing course transferability and advising students through a dedicated transfer admissions agent. To take advantage of one of Quincy College`s articulation agreements, you must earn an associate degree, meet the minimum GPA requirement at both schools, and ensure that the credits you wish to transfer have all received a grade of C or higher.
